More than anything - an artist, a musician, a poet - Miles was a teacher. He used his life to encourage everyone he could to live with love. He urged us all to embrace the present moment, to take risks, to connect deeply with ourselves and our communities.
To honor Miles’ legacy of teaching, we would like to share the lessons he taught at his memorial service. Participation is totally optional.
We’re asking all who have something to share to send 2-4 sentences on something that they learned through knowing Miles. At his memorial on March 20, we will have all lessons printed out on slips of paper and we will exchange them, so that everyone can leave with a tangible piece of Miles’ lessons - and perhaps receive one they hadn’t heard before. Those attending remotely will receive their via mail after the service.
To participate, please complete the form below by Wednesday, March 17.
