Andrea Aldrighetti on Miles

Miles had lived in the same building as mine for a while in Verona. Ground floor. While I was at the first floor of this 3 story-building. He moved in to compose and finish off his Phases in Exile materials. The first day he started playing I had a massive landscaping activity done in my garden . There was a caterpillar digging holes, people yelling and stuff. So I went downstairs and apologize, because the place was a total wreck and the noise was overwhelming. And I told him "Man, I hope you are playing some industrial music, because this could be a killer inspiration for you". He was so kind he laughed out loud and he eventually wound up penning a wonderful album I am a proud owner of. Ta.
